Welcome to my teaching and research homepage.

I am a lecturer based in the School of Music at the University of Edinburgh. I am part of the Musical Acoustics Group. For historical and teaching reasons I'm based in the James Clerk Maxwell Building (Physics) on Kings Buildings campus.

These days my main responsibility is as the head of the MSc in Acoustics and Music Technology. This exciting degree provides a broad and solid taught postgraduate programme which covers many of the varied fields within musical acoustics.
