Integrand reduction techniques at one and higher loops

Particle Physics Theory seminar

Integrand reduction techniques at one and higher loops

  • Event time: 2:00pm
  • Event date: 9th May 2014
  • Speaker: Tiziano Peraro (Formerly School of Physics & Astronomy, University of Edinburgh)
  • Location: Higgs Centre Seminar Room, Room 4305,

Event details

I will talk about recent developments in integrand reduction techniques for the computation of loop integrals. I will present the integrand reduction via Laurent expansion method for one-loop amplitudes, implemented in the public library Ninja. I will show some phenomenological applications to processes relevant for LHC, obtained using an automated framework which combines Ninja and the one-loop package GoSam. I will also present an algebraic framework which can be used to extend integrand reduction techniques to higher loops.
