Precise prediction for H+J at the LHC

  • Event time: 2:00pm
  • Event date: 15th April 2015
  • Speaker: Fabrizio Caola (CERN)
  • Location: Higgs Centre Seminar Room, Room 4305,

Event details

In this talk, I will discuss next-to-next-to-leading order predictions for Higgs boson production in association with one hard jet at hadron colliders. After quickly reviewing the key points of this kind of computations, I will present recent phenomenological results for the LHC

About Particle Physics Theory seminars

The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
