Prof. John Dudley, President of the European Physical Society, is visiting Heriot-Watt to deliver a presentation on the International Year of Light 2015, a major initiative involving UNESCO and the UN, and emphasizing the key role of photonics as an enabling technology to solve problems of global concern.
