Particle Physics Theory seminar

Heavy quark physics from lattice QCD

  • Event time: 2:00pm
  • Event date: 18th October 2017
  • Speaker: Andrew Lytle (University of Glasgow)
  • Location: Higgs Centre Seminar Room, Room 4305,

Event details

I will discuss precision computations including bottom and charm quarks in realistic lattice QCD simulations. After reviewing important features of the methodology used by the HPQCD collaboration the talk will focus on recent progress in $B_{(s,c)}$ meson semileptonic decays and the impact for phenomenology at LHCb and $B$-factories.
