By Car:
- From the North: leave the M6 at junction 40. Take the A66 to Threlkeld and St Johns-in-the-Vale and then the A591 to Ambleside. St. Martin's is on the left as you enter the town, opposite the main tourist car park.
- From the South: leave the M6 at junction 36. Take the A590 and A591 for Keswick and Ambleside. The A591 forms the main road through Ambleside and the College is on the right-hand side of the road as you leave the town, immediately after the right-hand turn to Kirkstone.

By Train:
- Take a train to Oxenholme station where you can get a connection to Windermere. Train times may be obtained from the Railtrack website.You can then either take a taxi or local bus(Stagecoach no. 599 or 555/556) to Ambleside.

By Air:
- The nearest airport is Manchester International from where you can get a train to Oxenholme station. You then need to follow the above instructions to get to Ambleside.
