Getting to the Royal Observatory from Edinburgh Airport

The taxi rank is directly outside the airport's main entrance. The journey to the Royal Observatory takes about 20–30 minutes and will cost around £15-20.
A shuttle bus service and tram run between Edinburgh Airport and the City Centre, running 24 hours a day and at least every 10 minutes during the day. Once you get to the city centre, depart the bus when it terminates at Waverley Bridge, just outside Waverley Station; depart the tram at St Andrew Square.
From there, you can follow the instructions for getting to ROE by bus from the city centre.
