Event details

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) has been successfully delivering proton-proton collision data at a centre of mass energy of 13 TeV. A major upgrade is planned to increase the instantaneous luminosity delivered by the LHC by a factor of 5-7 (HL-LHC) for running in 2027 and beyond. Over a decade an integrated luminosity of 3000 to 4000/fb is expected. This talk shows highlights of the expected physics reach at the HL-LHC for the main four experiments. The physics prospects are shown for Higgs couplings measurements, di-Higgs boson production sensitivity, precision Standard Model processes, as well as the discovery potential for searches for SUSY and other new phenomena.
