Event details

An informal gathering of students and staff to watch the final stages of Philae's landing on Comet 67P.  

This is the first time humankind has landed a probe on a comet: an important moment for space science. Drop in at any time, the EXPECTED LANDING and receipt of signal (Forecast; 40 min variability) is 16:02 GMT.

Visitors from across the University and beyond are welcome to join in the fun. 

Booking is not essential but it helps with the ordering of the right number of teas, coffees and cakes. If overbooked, come anyway.
