Event details
Opinion dynamics in social systems is a difficult problem to solve. A way to approximate this dynamics is to rely on the so-called Brownian agents framework introduced by Frank Schweitzer. This is a particular type of multi-agent system. In this talk I will introduce Schweitzer's formalism and present a mean-field approximation of opinion separation without or with external support. If times allows, I will also discuss critical conditions for spatial opinion separation.
