Event details

I will present results from an ongoing study of the $\rho$ resonance in lattice QCD. The study of unstable states is challenging in numerical Euclidean field theory. With only one open channel, this is a benchmark system to study. It is furthermore interesting because it gives access to a calculation of the timelike pion form factor. This study also integrates with the existing Mainz programme for the calculation of the hadronic vacuum polarization contribution to the muon $g-2$. The current study focuses on CLS 2-flavour lattices with pion masses ranging from $275$ to $451$ $\mathrm{MeV}$ using $\mathcal{O}(a)$ improved Wilson fermions.
