Join us this Thu 28 – Sat 30 March for the Craigmillar Community Science Festival. Discover the wonders of the night sky, and delve inside the body to see how it works! We will be running activities along with colleagues from the Centre for Regenerative Medicine.

* Thu 28 March, 6.30-8.00pm, 'Science After Dark' at Craigmillar Castle Park: Discover the wonders of the night sky with astronomers and explore the world of the park animals after dark with Edinburgh and Lothians Greenspace Trust. (All welcome, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).

* Friday 29 March, 12.30-3.00pm, 'Science Showcase' at The White House: Starring Castlebrae, Castleview and Niddrie Mill pupils.  Free lunch and fun activities. (All welcome).

* Saturday 30 March, 1.00-5.00pm, 'Bodyworks on Tour!' at Craigmillar Library: Delve deep inside the body to see how it works. (All welcome, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult).

Our General Interest Seminars are an opportunity for distinguished speakers to present new research in physics and related areas. The material presented is suitable for undergraduate level upwards and all members of the School are welcome to attend..
