Event details
In-flight production of exotic nuclei offers unique opportunities for experiments with clean beams. Different separation methods allow broadband measurements covering more than 40 Isotopes in a single setting or can generate even isomerically pure beams. Reaction studies over a wide range of energies from several GeV/u down to the coulomb barrier are possible. The generated nuclides are identified unambiguously by universal detection methods.
