RICH Detectors for the LHCb: 2006 Test Beam Studies

  • Event time: 2:00pm until 3:00pm
  • Event date: 24th August 2006
  • Speaker: Nick Styles (Formerly School of Physics & Astronomy, University of Edinburgh)
  • Location: Room 6301,

Event details

Test Beam periods offer the opportunity to observe the performance of crucial detector subsystems in conditions beginning to approach those of their eventual operation in the LHC accelerator. A report from the February/March 2006 test beam at INFN Frascati is presented here, along with analysis of the resulting data.
