Latest Results from Belle and Plans for a Super B Factory
- Event time: 2:00pm until 3:00pm
- Event date: 30th March 2006
- Speaker: Tim Gershon (Warwick University)
- Location: Room 6206, James Clerk Maxwell Building (JCMB) James Clerk Maxwell Building Peter Guthrie Tait Road Edinburgh EH9 3FD GB
Event details
The Belle experiment at the KEK-B collider has accumulated a large data sample of BB pairs. These data have been used to measure Standard Model parameters, and to constrain possible contributions from new physics. The latest results are briefly reviewed. The proposed Super B Factory will allow more precise measurements, complementing those which will be obtained at LHCb. This proposal is discussed.
