Each day will host internationally renowned guest speakers on a specific theme including: Astrochemistry & Planetary Atmospheres; Biology & Space and Environments for Life.
STFC will cover all costs for STFC-funded PhD students or PDRAs attending. Interested research students with other funding arrangements who wish to attend are welcome and partial scholarships are available. Please contact the organisers for details.
The School starts with arrival and social mixer on Sunday Sept. 11th, lectures commence on the morning of Monday 12th Sept. with final departure on the Friday afternoon. Break-out study groups will address fundamental problems in Astrobiology during the week and it is expected that all participants will bring a poster of their research or proposed research to present at the Summer School.
