Please join us for a lunchtime talk with astronaut, ecologist and alumnus Piers Sellers.

Talk summary

The era of Earth observing satellites is about 35 years old. During this time, a small fleet of complicated machines flying around our planet has provided us with a number of ground-breaking scientific insights and have given us the data for initialising and validating our weather and climate models.

Piers will follow his talk with a Q&A session with the audience.
