Distinguished guest speaker, Dr David Milne OBE, reflects on his business journey from academic consultancy to CEO of one of the UK’s most successful technology companies, Wolfson Microelectronics.

Founded in Edinburgh in 1984, a decade later it was valued at £250 million when floated on the London Stock Exchange and had its products used in multiple everyday devices including mobile phones, MP3 players, games consoles and digital cameras. What inspired David’s entrepreneurial passion and how has he built such a successful international company with global impact?
