The LHCb detector on the Large Hadron Collider was purpose built for B-physics, but has proven to be a versatile forward detector. Recently a jet physics program has been developed at LHCb, leveraging these forward capabilities. The unique decay signatures of hadrons containing heavy quarks provide an important experimental tool for understanding QCD phenomena including intrinsic charm, strange symmetries, the gluon parton distribution function, and the basic 1 → 2 splittings of QCD. I will describe the inclusive c and b-jet tagging capabilities of LHCb and their application. Additionally, I will describe recent work on understanding the nature of J/psi production in the context of jets.
