The talk will be about 30 minutes, after which we will have a group discussion about the speaker’s talk and general astrobiology-related topics.
Astrobiology is a multidisciplinary field of science. Our own research group is composed of planetary scientists, geologists, biologists, microbiologists, geochemists, physicists, astronomers, environmental scientists and engineers. We have created ELASSS to improve collaboration between these scientific disciplines across campus, and to encourage more people to get involved in the fascinating field of Astrobiology.
FREE pizza, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
About UK Centre for Astrobiology seminars
The astrobiology seminar series is run by the UK Centre for Astrobiology based in the School of Physics & Astronomy. Astrobiology is a multi-disciplinary subject and the seminar series actively encourages attendance by undergraduates, postgraduates and academic staff from other departments..
