Event details
Learn about three critical environmental challenges and how we can address them – with physics!
We will engage in a timely conversation about three global challenges concerning our environment, natural resources, and human activities. And how physics can come to the rescue!
Space pollution, and why it is essential to protect the sky from the environmental impact of mega-constellations of artificial satellites.
A new generation of biological building materials may offer an opportunity to reduce the environmental impact of the construction industry.
And, finally, the energetic cost of scientific computing, and, more broadly, how to mitigate the environmental impact of our digital lifestyle.
This is an outreach event, aimed at the general public.
