Event details
Knowledge transfer in the high-energy physics domain is a challenge. The often fundamental nature of our work makes it hard to predict if any societal benefit can be expected. However, there are various ways in which our efforts can create value in other domains. The speaker will present some examples of successful knowledge transfer cases from Nikhef. In addition, the speaker will try to trigger you to think in a different manner and give some examples of how student teams have come up with unexpected ideas.
