Undertake fun physics and astronomy activities during Doors Open Day 2025.
Physics
Come and build a LEGO Mars rover and find out how this relates to the quest for finding the most mysterious and unknown matter of the Universe: dark matter.

Astronomy
A chance to discover the ‘out of this world’. Activities include speaking to astronomers and engineers, crafts and handling meteorites.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to essential repairs, the rooftop and Victorian telescope dome at the Royal Observatory Edinburgh will be closed. There are still lots of other areas to see on the site.
