Research ethics & integrity
The University of Edinburgh has a commitment to promote and facilitate the conduct of ethical research.
In line with this policy, the School of Physics & Astronomy's ethics procedures are designed to identify issues which may arise during the course of research. These procedures apply to all research done within the School, whether by staff, students, visitors or anyone else. Their aim is to comply with legal and ethical requirements through the University's Worktribe research management and administration system. The procedures take a tiered approach, with the level of scrutiny dictated by each set of circumstances.
