Event details
A progress report on some experiments on the drying of colloidal films done in the Laboratoire Physico-Chimie Macromoleculaire in Paris by Francois Lequeux (films of alumina colloids) and by me (colloid-polymer mixture drops) when I visited Paris in Apr. I will try to convince you that watching paint dry can lead to surprisingly rich veins of physics of fundamental interest to condensed matter and statistical physicists.
