Event details
I will discuss the anomaly free discrete R symmetries which solve the mu and proton decay problems of the (N)MSSM. These symmetries result in a somewhat generalised version of the NMSSM. We find that the corresponding fine-tuning is significantly less than is found in the MSSM or NMSSM. Remarkably the minimal fine-tuning is achieved for Higgs masses of 130 GeV - 140 GeV.
About Particle Physics Theory seminars
The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
