Searches for Supersymmetry at the LHC
- Event time: 2:00pm
- Event date: 1st February 2012
- Speaker: Ben Allanach (DAMTP, University of Cambridge)
- Location: Lecture Theatre C, James Clerk Maxwell Building (JCMB) James Clerk Maxwell Building Peter Guthrie Tait Road Edinburgh EH9 3FD GB
Event details
We shall summarise recent progress on searching for supersymmetry at the LHC. Large regions of some simple models of supersymmetry breaking have already been experimentally excluded.
Although some regions of parameter space that are not fine-tuned have been ruled out, there remain additional regions that have not yet been found. We shall suggest how one may look for these.

About Particle Physics Theory seminars
The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
