- Event time: 11:30am
- Event date: 6th June 2012
- Speaker: Dr Bartlomiej Waclaw (School of Physics & Astronomy, University of Edinburgh)
- Location: Room 2511, James Clerk Maxwell Building (JCMB) James Clerk Maxwell Building Peter Guthrie Tait Road Edinburgh EH9 3FD GB
Event details
In this talk I first finish off the discussion of bacterial conjugation from the previous seminar. I will then move on to simple stochastic models of bacterial populations. I will focus on the time to extinction in a population of a single species.
