Event details
Recently an efficient numerical method has been developed to implementthe constraints of crossing symmetry and unitarity on the low lying spectrum of CFT in diverse space-time dimensions. The calculations can be done only for theories lying at the boundary of the allowed parameter space. In this talk it is pointed out that a similar method can be applied to a much larger class of CFT, whether unitary or not, and no free parameter remains. The method is applied to Lee-Yang edge singularity in diverse dimensions and to 3d critical Ising model.
About Particle Physics Theory seminars
The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
