Event details

It is possible that the Higgs particle discovered at the LHC is a composite technidilaton, a bound state emerging in a strongly-coupled theory of electroweak symmetry breaking. I review the current status of the theoretical development of this idea in the context of gauge-gravity dualities, and highlight a set of important open questions.

About Particle Physics Theory seminars

The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
