Event details
I will derive in the context of an Effective Field Theory framework a general formulation of collinear factorization in presence of heavy quarks, in which logarithms of the heavy quark mass are resummed to all orders in the strong coupling while keeping the correct mass dependence where relevant. I will present an application to Higgs production in association with bottom quarks, and compare to the state-of-the-art results available in the literature.
About Particle Physics Theory seminars
The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
