Particle Physics Theory seminar

Numerical methods and applications to two-loop calculations in the Higgs sector

  • Event time: 2:00pm
  • Event date: 7th February 2018
  • Speaker: Gudrun Heinrich (Max-Planck Institute for Physics)
  • Location: Higgs Centre Seminar Room, Room 4305,

Event details

The status of precision calculations will be briefly reviewed,  focusing on calculations beyond one loop. Then an overview of the program SecDec, which can be used for numerical multi-loop calculations, will be given.
Some examples and phenomenological applications of the program will be discussed, in particular two-loop calculations in the Higgs sector.
