Event details
The study of heavy hadrons is passing through an incredible era with the discovery of numerous heavy subatomic particles. The study of charmed baryons and heavy tetraquarks are integral parts of this resurgence in scientific interest to explore the spectrum of strongly interacting heavy hadrons. I will first present the energy spectra of charmed baryons obtained using lattice QCD and discuss their implications on the recently observed states and future discovery. In the second part I will present our recent results on the energy spectra of various tetraquark states with one or more heavy quarks using lattice QCD. Presence of deeply bound doubly heavy tetraquarks and their possible future discovery will also be discussed.

About Particle Physics Theory seminars
The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
