Particle Physics Theory seminar

Anomalous dimensions to high orders in perturbation theory

  • Event time: 2:00pm
  • Event date: 21st November 2018
  • Speaker: Giulio Falcioni (Formerly School of Physics & Astronomy, University of Edinburgh)
  • Location: Higgs Centre Seminar Room, Room 4305,

Event details

Precision calculations require the knowledge of anomalous dimensions to high oreders in perturbation theory,
therefore finding efficient algorithms to cope with the increasing number of Feynman diagrams with the loop order and with the complexity of the associated integrals is an important problem in quantum field theory.
In this talk I will review the features of some of the most promising techniques and give examples in concrete applications.
