Event details

Very interesting geometrical structures emerge from QFT and String Theory (and String Field Theory).  In particular, we will discuss the case of supergeometry where the differential calculus and the theory of distributions are fused to provide a complete theory of differential forms on super manifolds.
Several applications to QFT, supersymmetry and massive supergravity are illustrated.

About Particle Physics Theory seminars

The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
