Conformal symmetry is highly constraining, fixing the form of all 2- and 3-point correlation functions up to constants.  While these expressions are well-known in position space, their momentum-space counterparts have only recently been identified.  We review these developments, introducing an elementary method for solving the momentum-space conformal Ward identities.  In certain cases, divergences arise and we must renormalise leading to beta functions and anomalies.  The 0/0 structure of type A anomalies is particularly transparent in momentum space, as is the emergence of double copy structure in the flat space limit.  Our results have interesting new applications ranging from condensed matter physics to holographic cosmology.

About Particle Physics Theory seminars

The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
