Event details
The SPC talk on Wednesday will have a different theme from most of our talks. The topic will be the challenges of successfully commercialising academic research. Our speakers will be Nick Rankin, CEO, and Mike Lincoln, CTO, of Quorate Technology a company they co-founded in 2012 as a spin-out from the Centre for Speech Technology Research at The University of Edinburgh. They have kindly agreed to talk about their experiences and briefly about their speech recognition technology.
The aim is to make this an interactive session so please bring any questions you have about commercialisation of your research.
