Event details
In this talk we will discuss how to perform precision calculations in the SMEFT framework, in order to parametrise small deviations from the SM predictions. We will discuss how to implement the complex mass scheme in an EFT calculation and how to go beyond leading order.
Further we will discuss how to extract numerical predictions for different electroweak processes in order to look for new physics within the LHC run-2 and upcoming runs.
About Particle Physics Theory seminars
The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
