Event details

In this talk we will discuss the application of the method of "expansion by regions" to Feynman integrals. After briefly reviewing the motivation for this method and its application in momentum space, we will describe the procedure in the space of Feynman parameters. Here, the method has a geometric interpretation which can be used to uncover the relevant "regions". A few caveats and open questions will be highlighted. Finally, we will demonstrate the use of an automated tool for the numerical computation of Feynman integrals, pySecDec, in which this method was recently implemented.
