Event details
Title:
QED radiative corrections in pion and kaon decays
Abstract:
In the context of the decays of the lightest hadrons (mainly the neutral pion and charged kaon), I will talk about the role of QED radiative corrections when measuring the branching ratios and form-factor parameters involved. Related tensions between theory and experiment will be discussed.
About Particle Physics Theory seminars
The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
