Event details

Flavour physics provides an excellent framework for indirect searches for physics beyond the Standard Model. Such searches require both high-precision experimental measurements and equally precise theoretical predictions. In this talk, I will focus on the theoretical side of b->sll transitions, which poses significant challenges due to the non-perturbative nature of low-energy QCD effects. I will also discuss current strategies for overcoming these challenges and outline future prospects in the field.

About Particle Physics Theory seminars

The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
