Event details
In recent years, we have witnessed how newly introduced field-theoretic tools have rapidly pushed the state-of-the-art of precision computations in the context of gravitational physics. In this talk, I will review recent progress on the extraction of the gravitational waveforms from (quantum) field theory, the cutting-edge results, and the comparison with other methods, as well as a new understanding of the structure of asymptotic infinity.
About Particle Physics Theory seminars
The Particle Physics Theory seminar is a weekly series of talks reflecting the diverse interests of the group. Topics include analytic and numerical calculations based on the Standard Model of elementary particle physics, theories exploring new physics, as well as more formal developments in gauge theories and gravity..
