Please note that these events are taking place during a period of industrial action, which is taking place across the UK higher education sector. We respect the right of our staff to take industrial action. However, we want to reassure you that our top priority is to minimise any disruption to you where we can.
At the moment, we do not anticipate any impact on the events above, and we are not aware of any strike action planned for the 5 April, 12 April or 21 April but we will let you know if this changes.
If an event has to be cancelled at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances please note we are unable to accept liability for any costs incurred by attendees (e.g. travel, accommodation). You may wish to consider travel insurance or flexible tickets.
If you cannot make our on-campus Offer Holder Events, you can still meet us online. Events include a presentation from a member of academic staff within the School and current students, and a Question & Answer session. Presentations include information on living in Edinburgh, degree structures and courses, and student services. Each session has a duration of around 1 hour and is hosted on Blackboard’s Collaborate Ultra. All you need is a computer and an internet connection. You do not need a web cam or microphone as questions can be asked via a text chat box.
