The experience I gained during the summer internship has been priceless in helping to adjusting to the environment at the world class research facility at GSI.

I had the pleasure of undertaking an electronics project with Moritz Pascal Reiter and the rest of the IPNP Nuclear Physics team to design SqRF drivers for QMFs. Although this was the project aim, I ended up learning and contributing a lot more surrounding the subject than just the electronics. I also brushed up on coding, plasmas, vacuums and quantum physics. I even touched on quantum chromodynamics and CP-violation, and there are brief sections about these incredibly advanced topics in my report.

I am a physics with a year abroad student. This means that directly after this summer internship, I started my working placement year abroad at GSI/FAIR's PANDA department.
