PlayerData was founded in late 2016 by Roy Hotrabhvanon and Hayden Ball. Two recent graduates of Edinburgh University in Computer Science and Electronics. The company was founded to create the next generation of sports wearables and has recently completed an investment round with high profile individuals. The company expects to launch its first product PlayerData EDGE to the B2B market later this year. Roy won Scottish EDGE Wildcard in 2017, Made in Scotland Young Innovator of the Year 2018 and has passed through the Royal Society of Edinburgh Fellowship Programme.
