Dr Claudia Cavalluzzo has a PhD in Organic Chemistry and is a former Saltire Fellow. During her career, she has worked in biotech spin-out from the University of Edinburgh and more recently as Head of Saltire Fellowship within Entrepreneurial Scotland. Claudia brings to Converge Challenge the important experience of technology start-ups and in-depth knowledge of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Claudia is the Deputy Director of Converge Challenge and Enterprise Outreach Manager where she is responsible for supporting and developing collaborative partnerships with all Scottish Universities and Research Institutes, all stakeholders within the entrepreneurial eco-system in Scotland as well as advising Converge Challenge participants.
Claudia will be explaining how Converge Challenge provides students and staff with commercial skills, networks and access to funding, to assist emerging entrepreneurs in bringing new products and services to market.

We run a series of Entrepreneurship Masterclasses and Start-Up Clinics for staff and postgraduate students. Our workshops link understanding in physics to the functionality of ingredients, formulations and food processes. These are open to the public. .
