Leah is the Natwest UK Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year. She was featured on the BBC documentary, The Entrepreneurs, and she won one of the inaugural Scottish EDGE Awards.
Leah will speak about the ups and downs of building a technology business from scratch, with just an idea, a laptop and her overdraft.
Bring your own coffee / tea - cakes and biscuits will be provided.
We run a series of Entrepreneurship Masterclasses and Start-Up Clinics for staff and postgraduate students. Our workshops link understanding in physics to the functionality of ingredients, formulations and food processes. These are open to the public. .
