Leah Hutcheon is the founder and CEO of Appointedd, https://www.appointedd.com/,  a cloud based software system that enables businesses to take guaranteed bookings online. Appointedd works with high street retailers, international corporations and Fortune 500 companies to help them manage the impact of bookings through their business. The start up launched the world’s first cross-time zone booking system and the software is now used globally.

Leah is the Natwest UK Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year. She was featured on the BBC documentary, The Entrepreneurs, and she won one of the inaugural Scottish EDGE Awards. 

Leah will speak about the ups and downs of building a technology business from scratch, with just an idea, a laptop and her overdraft.
