Dr Rotimi Alabi, Founder, CEO of RAB Microfluidics https://rab-microfluidics.co.uk/.  Rotimi , a  University of Aberdeen School of Geosciences graduate, turned his PhD into a business idea and was awarded a prestigious NERC Enterprise Fellowship by the Royal Society of Edinburgh in 2017. He will be sharing how he is shaping a successful business from his academic speciality.

About Entrepreneurship masterclasses

Entrepreneurship Masterclasses will take place the first Monday of every month. We have some inspirational speakers lined up including Physicists who have commercialised their research, either applying their know how to industry or starting a business, as well as speakers from the Entrepreneurial community who will be sharing how to develop an entrepreneurial mind-set and the importance of networking with the wider community. All staff and postgraduate students are welcome. Cakes and biscuits will be provided - bring your own coffee. Photos may be take at these events and used for publicity purposes. Our 2019 masterclasses will be published in autumn 2018..
