Start-up clinic: An academic with entrepreneurial ambitions with Dr Tiffany Wood

Event details

For the past 7 years, Dr Tiffany Wood  has been working on commercialising research through working with industry on contract research and consultancy projects through the Edinburgh Complex Fluids Partnership.  During the last 6 months she has taken a new turn and started an entrepreneurial journey since some technologies are more suited to company formation.  At this Start-up Clinic, Tiffany will share her recent experiences of both iCURe and Converge Challenge programs.  This will be an informal discussion with participants encouraged to share their own experiences and ask questions.

We run a series of Entrepreneurship Masterclasses and Start-Up Clinics for staff and postgraduate students. Our workshops link understanding in physics to the functionality of ingredients, formulations and food processes. These are open to the public. .
