Currently Senior Professorial Fellow and Professor Emeritus, working with colleagues in the Audio And Acoustics Research Group at the University of Edinburgh on the physics and acoustics of musical instruments. Partner in the EC-funded BATWOMAN Marie Curie Initial Training Network, and supervisor of one PhD student.
